Turlock Dental Care is hosting its 10th annual "Care From The Heart" event on Sept. 26, offering a full day of free dental services to local residents in need. Led by Dr. Robert A. McCulla, the clinic will open its doors at 3131 Colorado Ave. in Turlock to provide free cleanings, fillings, and extractions on a first-come, first-served basis.

Millions of Americans currently lack dental insurance, turning routine professional care into an unaffordable luxury. In the Central Valley, events like "Care From The Heart" serve as a crucial safety net, directly addressing untreated dental problems while restoring the health and confidence of local residents.

Since the event's inception, Dr. McCulla alongside a dedicated network of dentists, community sponsors, and volunteers have provided free oral health care to more than 1,000 people. This year’s landmark 10th-anniversary event is projected to be the largest to date.

"Now more than ever, we know people in our community need these services but may not have the means to afford them," said Dr. McCulla. "Whether they’re unemployed or simply don’t have dental insurance, everyone deserves to live without dental pain. Care From The Heart is our way of giving back and being there for our neighbors in their time of need."

To accommodate the expected record turnout, Dr. McCulla will be joined by associate dentists Dr. Emma Carpenter, Dr. Bobby Bahia and Dr. Esmeralda Amador. The entire Turlock Dental Care support staff and a team of local volunteers will also be on-site to assist patients throughout the day.

Registration runs from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Patients must be adults to receive treatment.

Services will be administered on a first-come, first-served basis. The clinical team aims to treat the first 150 guests in line, or as many community members as safely possible before the conclusion of the event. Attendees are encouraged to arrive early for morning registration.
