Alliance sets up in Turlock

The Stanislaus Economic Development and Workforce Alliance will be opening up an office inside the Turlock Chamber of Commerce within the next few weeks.
The Alliance is a county supported operation that focuses on job creation, business assistance, and workforce training.
“This will give the people in Turlock an opportunity to understand what the Alliance does and it will make it more convenient to access their services,” said Sharon Silva, the President and Chief Executive Officer of the Turlock Chamber of Commerce.
The exact date of when the satellite office will open has not been set.

A recurring theme at the opening night of the 2025 Stanislaus County Fair in Turlock — the 107th edition of the annual event — was the heat. Sure, it's not 108 degrees like last year, but 102 on Friday afternoon wasn't too far off.
