The Amazon fulfillment center in Tracy is hiring more than 100 additional full-time positions to work at the 1.1 million-square-foot facility.

Amazon is hiring in order to meet growing customer demand. Associates at this facility work alongside innovative technologies, including Amazon robotics that associates use on a daily basis to fulfill customer orders.

“Amazon has been a great neighbor here in Tracy since the day they opened the doors,” said Tracy Mayor Michael Maciel. “In addition to their ongoing community involvement, the company’s continued growth directly benefits the city and surrounding areas. We are very glad to have them here.”

Full-time employees at Amazon receive competitive hourly wages and a comprehensive benefits package, including healthcare, 401(k) and company stock awards starting on day one. Amazon also offers regular full-time employees innovative programs like Career Choice, where it will pre-pay up to 95 percent of tuition for courses related to in-demand fields, regardless of whether the skills are relevant to a career at Amazon. Since the program’s launch, employees are pursuing degrees in game design and visual communications, nursing, IT programming and radiology, to name a few.
