The first of four art walks in downtown Turlock is set for Thursday evening, with seven businesses participating in the event.

“We are excited to welcome four new businesses to the art walk for 2018: Crust & Crumb, Inspirations Salon, Rembrandt and Rosé and Vali Creek Jewelry Designs,” said Carnegie Director Lisa McDermott. “We think this event brings attention to what’s going on in art, culture, shopping and dining in Turlock’s vibrant downtown district.”

Attendees of the art walk may stroll between several art galleries and businesses located on and near Main Street. All will have refreshments along with art, antiques, and locally handcrafted items for viewing and for sale.

This series of evening art walks features free, family-friendly events at a variety of Downtown arts venues and businesses. The overall goal of Art Around Town is to familiarize the community with local artists, artisans and galleries, but also to promote the downtown Turlock business and culture scene.  The remaining events will take place on: May 10, Aug. 9 and Nov. 8.
