The Stanislaus County Fairgrounds welcomed the first arrivals to the Modesto Area A's annual Swap Meet on Thursday. The swap meet has been a Turlock tradition since 1966, drawing thousands of auto lovers to town the last weekend of January.
The swap meet will be held from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday. Admission is $10 at the gate on Saturday, and $5 on Sunday. Children 12 and under are free when accompanied by an adult.
