Local golfers will soon be able to improve their swing no matter the weather, as Back Nine Golf is set to open in Turlock this summer.

Back Nine Golf is an indoor golf simulator facility that allows golfers to access world-class courses, all while getting key feedback that can be used to improve their game. Leonard and Salina Williams will be opening the Turlock location at 693 N. Golden State Blvd. in the Turlock Town Center.

The facility will provide four indoor golf simulator bays that can hold up to four members per bay at one time. The members can use the simulators for recreation play, lessons or small group gatherings. Members will have access 24 hours a day, seven days a week through a keyless reservation system and the general public will have access from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. through a reservation system.

“We’re looking for the avid golfer that wants to have a membership come play and get better because the data that it offers you helps players get better,” said Turlock Back Nine Golf owner Leonard Williams.

Williams said that while the simulator is great to improve your game, everyone is welcome at Back Nine Golf, novice to expert golfers, and the whole family.

Williams said at this time, they will not be offering food or beverages but he has been talking with the different restaurants in the Turlock Town Center so that golfers can preorder food and have it delivered to Back Nine.

The location in the Turlock Town Center works well for the business, according to Williams, because it’s off a main thoroughfare so when members come to golf late at night they won’t feel as isolated. The property will also have 24/7 security camera monitoring and cameras in each of the simulation bays.

Back Nine Golf Turlock is expected to open in late July.
