Those looking to hit the open road in the upcoming year can also support a good cause.

Best RV Center in Turlock has partnered with United Way of Stanislaus County for the second year and will be donating $100 to the organization per every vehicle purchased during the month of January.

Last year alone, Best RV sold 140 vehicles in the month of January and donated $14,000 to United Ways in the Central Valley. Now, they are excited to extend this offer statewide by donating to the local United Way in the home zip code of the purchaser.

“This is a good way to get community support and help others,” said Jay Glasgow, manager and event organizer at Best RV Center. “We donate to every county in the state of California that the customer comes from; it doesn’t just help us locally but it helps United Way as a whole.”

United Way of Stanislaus County staff will be on site every weekend in January to share their Live United message.

“We will be greeting customers and sharing how each donation to United Way helps us all to advance the three building blocks of a better life; education, income and health, in their local community,” said Sandra Leon, the inventory manager and Internet sales manager for Best RV Center.

“It’s a good motivator for people to get an RV, but overall it’s about helping the community,” said Glasgow.
