Today is the last day of the Friends of the Turlock Public Library annual book sale. The group sells hardbound books for $1 and most paperbacks for 50 cents, all of which raises much-needed funds for the library’s operating budget.

The book sale will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. today at the First United Methodist Church, 1660 Arbor Way, Turlock.
