It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas inside Smith Chevrolet Cadillac in Turlock. There were signs of Christmas cheer in almost every department of the dealership; the inside is decorated with a festive Mickey and Minnie, a snowed in village featuring 48 houses, and even old Saint Nick himself.

General Manager Renee Carey said the decorations took weeks to put up, but that it is worth the trouble to bring joy to the community.

“We do it for the community,” Carey explained. “One lady from Los Banos was visiting and said that she would drive back here again just to see the display.”

Carey, along with fellow cohorts at the dealership, are committed to bringing Christmas cheer through their display and actions.

A classic 1947 Truck is parked near one of Santa’s sleigh, and will be filled with food and presents for the Salvation Army through their customer appreciation program on Dec. 18.

“It’s hometown Turlock and that is what it’s all about,” Carey said.
