Turlock Chief of Police Jason Hedden will be holding another meet and greet session on Aug. 16. Next week’s event will be the fifth meet and greet event that Hedden has held since he was officially sworn in as police chief in February of this year.

In an interview during last month’s National Night Out event, Hedden explained that he is making it a point of emphasis to connect and be transparent with community members.

The upcoming meet and greet will take place from 10 a.m. to noon at the Crostini Restaurant at 811 W Hawkeye Ave. in Turlock.

“No agendas, no formal speeches, just a chance for us to get to know one another,” Hedden said in a February video promoting a series of past meet and greet events.

Community members are encouraged to follow the Turlock Police Department on social media outlets for the latest updates on Chief Hedden’s meet and greet sessions. TPD can be found on Facebook at Instagram at @turlockpolice.
