Children young and old celebrate All Hallow's Eve

Princesses cavorted with ghosts, vampires and ninjas this week, as children of all ages got into the Halloween spirit. The Turlock Library held a special holiday event that featured puppets, crafts and trick-or-treating. On Friday, Pitman High and Brown Elementary School each had costumed fun, while Lloyd G. Cunningham students were given their very own pumpkin patch thanks to the Kiwanis Club of Greater Turlock.

Every Memorial Day, locals put on their red, white and blue attire, maybe don a red poppy in remembrance of the fallen, and make their way to Turlock Memorial Park cemetery.
