City of Turlock restricts outdoor watering to one day per week
conservation corner pic

With summer behind us, water conservation must continue. The City of Turlock will be enforcing the winter watering schedule, effective Nov. 1 through Feb. 28. This schedule restricts outdoor watering to one day per week. Even numbered addresses can only water on Saturday and odd numbered addresses can only water on Sunday. Watering is also prohibited between the hours of noon and 6 p.m.

Water conservation should not stop during the fall and winter months. We must remain diligent in our efforts to reduce water consumption, which is why the City of Turlock encourages customers to turn off their sprinkler systems during the cooler seasons. Landscape watering should be reduced considerably, or stopped all together, during fall and winter due to plant dormancy, cooler weather and shorter days.
