City of Turlock to host free ‘Business Bootcamp’

The City of Turlock will soon be hosting another workshop for local business owners and entrepreneurs.

On Aug. 7 will be the Business Plan & Model Bootcamp. The event is free of charge, and will take place inside the Yosemite Room at Turlock City Hall on 156 S. Broadway Ave from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

While there, participants can learn how to create an actionable business plan, receive support from Score mentors, learn how to use and design Canva templates, and receive other expert insights.

“This bootcamp is ideal for early-stage founders, small business owners, and anyone seeking to develop a practical business plan,” the city said in a release.

The event is presented by the city alongside the Turlock Chamber of Commerce, the United States Small Business Administration (SBA), and Score Advisors.

Score Advisors is a national nonprofit providing resources and mentorship to small businesses across the country
