Westside Ministries is once again aiming to keep Turlock children warm and dry this winter season through the Coats 4 Kids program.

The Coats 4 Kids campaign provides approximately 1,000 kids each year with a much-needed winter coat, along with a new toy, a free haircut and a hot meal during the three-day event, set for 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. On Wednesday only, Walgreens will also provide free flu shots.

While many coats have already been donated, the ministry is in desperate need of boys jackets sizes 2T to 10/12 and girls and boys toys, especially sports balls. Donations can be brought to Westside Ministries at 952 Columbia Ave., Turlock. Monetary donations can be sent to Westside Ministries, P.O. Box 354, Turlock, CA 95381.
