Authorities have released the name of the Denair man killed in a collision on Nov. 21 at Geer Road and Yosemite Boulevard.

The deceased was identified by the Stanislaus County Coroner’s Office as Quenten Walker, 32, of Denair.

The collision was reported to the California Highway Patrol at 1:40 a.m. Nov. 21.

Walker was driving a Ford sedan and struck a Ford SUV on the driver’s side. The CHP stated Walker likely ran a red light at the intersection.

The first emergency responders found the sedan pinned up against a wall in the parking lot of a gas station. Walker was found nearby on the road. According to the CHP, he was not wearing his seatbelt at the tie of the collision and was ejected. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Walker was originally from Memphis and his fiancée Mariah Bogan is seeking to raise enough funds to have him laid to rest in Memphis. Walker leaves behind a 5-year-old son.
