DUI patrols planned for fair

The Avoid the 12 anti-drunk driving campaign will be conducting saturation patrols in Turlock through the run of the Stanislaus County Fair, ending July 24.

“We want to ensure that motorists in Turlock are driving safe and sober," said Sgt. Neil Cervenka, Turlock Police Traffic Safety Unit supervisor.  "The Stanislaus County Fair brings a lot of people into town.  The AVOID the 12 coalition wants them to enjoy the fair, travelling to and from it safely and with peace of mind.”
