The folks at Dust Bowl Brewing Co. in Turlock will be adding to their already packed trophy case after taking home three awards at the fifth annual Craft Beer Marketing Awards (CBMAs), better known as the “Crushies.”

There were a total of 18 Crushies handed out to California-based breweries at this year’s awards, the craft beer marketing-equivalent to the Oscars or Grammys established in 2019 to honor the best marketing of the brewing industry. It is a worldwide competition that focuses specifically on excellence in the artistic and creative marketing and packaging efforts of breweries.

A Platinum Crushie was also handed to Dust Bowl for Best On-Premise Branding/Mural or Art Installation for their taproom mural with the saying “Great Beer Born on Hard Times,” an ode to the brewery's roots in Oklahoma. The mural was also designed by Blindtiger Designs.

The three Crushies mark the fourth straight year in which Dust Bowl Brewing Co. has been recognized by the CBMAs.
