Emanuel to host Halloween Family and Health event

Central Valley families can expect a frightfully fun time – and get very important, free health screenings and flu shots – at the Emanuel Medical Center Harvest Health Fair being held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at EMC. This is a free community event filled with activities for all ages.

Families can take advantage of a wide array of entertainment and health resource opportunities including:

Halloween-Themed Fun:

• Trick-or-treating with decorated booths, and costumes, costumes, costumes;  

• Family activities with bounce houses, games, music and free food;

• Halloween-themed booths with awards in four spirited categories — Scare with Care, Frightfully Fun, Most Spirited and Monster Mash-up.

Health & Community:

• Free Health Screenings – including blood pressure, BMI, cholesterol, and glucose;

• Flu Shots will be available onsite;

• Community resources – 61 booths hosted by important local partner organizations that potentially can change lives for the better;

• Emergency Services Displays that kids can explore and learn about Medi-flight helicopter, ambulances and a fire truck;

• Education & Engagement – visit the Turlock Irrigation District Mobile Education Trailer for hands-on learning.

This event is more than screenings and services—it’s a chance to meet hospital caregivers, connect with community resources and celebrate the season together.
