EMC's DA VINCI MILESTONES

Emanuel Medical Center recently celebrated the latest of three significant milestones in robotic surgeries at the hospital. The robot, which is called the “da Vinci,” has transformed surgical treatment of these procedures with a minimally-invasive approach that allows for less blood loss during surgery, faster recovery times and, potentially, reducing the chance of nerve injury.
