Fair announces livestock entry deadlines

FFA and 4-H members sold 98 heifers at the 51st Annual Replacement Heifer Sale in 2019, grossing $305,650 ($3,151 per head).

Entry deadlines for Replacement Heifer applications for the 2020 Stanislaus County Fair are fast approaching.

This application deadline for the Stanislaus County Fair Replacement Heifer sale is for the one-year projects selling at the Fair and are due from noon to 5 p.m. Feb. 17 and 18.

“It is one of our significant sales for our livestock department and we wanted to give everyone adequate time to apply and provide all the required information needed in order to show,” said Adrenna Alkhas, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair.

For registration application and complete rules and requirements, visit or come to the Stanislaus County Fair Livestock office at 900 N. Broadway, Turlock, or call (209) 632-2557. The 52nd Annual Replacement Heifer Sale will take place on July 12.

The 2020 Stanislaus County Fair opens July 10 for a 10-day run.
