When the 38th District Agriculture Association Board of Directors announced on April 24 that the 2020 Stanislaus County Fair would be canceled, they started making plans for a way that youth livestock programs could continue.

The Fair is working on a plan to support exhibitors with their market animal projects this year. Options include a virtual livestock auction and/or possibly a market animal show.  The decision will come after June 1 to determine which direction to hold the auction.  Exhibitors can now enter their market animals on the Fair’s website at www.stancofair.com .

Online preliminary entry is available at no charge, just click on the “Virtual Livestock Program” link on our main page. Exhibitors can check back on the website for current news and updates.  Details and more information will be coming soon on virtual auction dates.

Online entry deadline for exhibitors’ market animals is May 28.

The 2020 Stanislaus County Fair was set to open July 10 for a 10-day run. To receive future Fair announcements follow them on Facebook at facebook.com/stancofair or on Twitter and Instagram @stancofair.

The mission of the Stanislaus County Fair is to provide a family and community-oriented experience promoting agriculture, entertainment, and technology.  For more information about the award-winning Stanislaus County Fair, visit www.stancofair.com.
