The brand-new Stanislaus County Fair preview magazine is now available.

There are only two days until the opening of the 2022 Stanislaus County Fair and its 10 days and nights of arena events, entertainment, fair food, amusement rides and games and new and fan-favorite exhibits and attractions.

“We try to make each Fair better than the year before, having new exhibits and entertainment achieves that,” said Jose Piña, spokesperson for the Stanislaus County Fair.

The fair will open Friday and will run through to July 17. This year marks the first time the fair has been able to open to full scale since 2019. The fair was canceled in 2020 and operated in a modified fashion in 2021.

The 2022 Fair will feature 10-nights of free celebrity concerts included with Fair admission, a total of three stages of live entertainment, upwards of 30,000 local exhibits and over 1,750 animals.

Many of the fan-favorite acts from previous fair runs will be back this year, Piña said. This includes the Famous Duck Races, Marionette Show the Wizard of OZ, “The Reflector” (mirror man), Cruzin Critters, Suzy Hainer The Hypnotist, Monster Trucks, and Destruction Derby.

The fair also will be bringing back the Free Till 3 Sundays, Kids Free night and Senior day.

The entertainment line-up kicks off with WAR on Friday on the Coors Light Variety Free Stage at 8:30 p.m.

“We are excited to welcome this legendary street band to the fair this year,” Piña said. “They have amazing hits that I know our guests are going to love.”

In the arena there will be bloodless bull fights, derbies and the rodeo.
