Turlock Firefighters Local 2434 will be holding their annual Boot Drive on Saturday. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the intersection of Monte Vista Avenue and Countryside Drive in Turlock. Money raised will go directly back to the community. Since last year, the firefighters have donated around $18,000 back into the Turlock community raised from the Boot Drive and their annual crab feed. This year money from the Boot Drive will be donated to Turlock Unified School District, Turlock Together, Turlock Recreation and Random Acts of Kindness. Random Acts of Kindness is a group formed by Local 2434 firefighters to help families in need.
