There are only two days left to enjoy the Stanislaus County Fair, but plenty of time to catch a sizzling summer concert, support local 4-H and FFA exhibitors or get a thrill on the midway. For many, a visit to the fair is all about the food. Journal multimedia director Frankie Tovar and Studio209 went back to the fair this year for another installment of "Frankie's Fair Food Adventures."

A recurring theme at the opening night of the 2025 Stanislaus County Fair in Turlock — the 107th edition of the annual event — was the heat. Sure, it's not 108 degrees like last year, but 102 on Friday afternoon wasn't too far off.
