The Turlock Fire Department will be conducting a live fire training today and Sunday.

The training will be located at 3606 N. Golden State Blvd. and will be conducted from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. each day.

During the training Roberts Road will be closed with barriers between Mountain View Road and N. Golden State Boulevard. In addition, N. Golden State Boulevard will be reduced to one lane road in the nearby area. Mountain View Road to Christoffersen Parkway will be open to traffic.

All barrier and road signs will be removed at the end of training each day.

The live fire training will produce smoke and the fire department is making efforts to mitigate the impacts.
