The investigation is ongoing for the cause of a house fire that injured one resident and displaced two adults.

The fire was reported at 7:30 p.m. Dec. 10 in the 300 block of Alaska Street.

Fire crews arrived on scene to find a home with heavy fire involvement throughout, live electrical lines down and one adult with burn injuries. The injuries were considered minor and the individual was transported by ambulance to a nearby hospital for treatment.

Turlock Fire Department engines, along with a battalion chief, responded to the fire. Additionally, engines from Turlock Rural Fire Department, Modesto, and a Turlock Fire Department off-duty battalion chief provided city coverage during the incident.

The investigation into how the fire started in ongoing, though it does not appear suspicious in nature, said Turlock Fire spokesman Capt. Jason Bernard.
