Fluzone vaccine extracting

The Stanislaus County Health Services Agency Public Health Services will begin its community flu vaccination clinics Sunday.

The flu vaccine will be available for anyone 6 months of age and older. No one will be turned away for the inability to pay the suggested administrative cost of $10 per child (6 months through 18 years) and $27 suggested fee per adult (19 years and older). Suggested payment may be made in cash only.

“The flu virus can be spread 24 hours before a person is aware that they are ill,” states Dr. John Walker, Stanislaus County Public Health Officer. “Get a flu vaccine to protect others and those you love!” Walker said.
