The Turlock 12:10 Lions Club and the Turlock Covenant Church put on a community health and safety fair Saturday that drew large crowds, according to event organizers.
Attendees were able to get free medical screenings and vision, hearing and blood pressure checks from the different health-related agencies on hand.
Additionally, more than 20 community groups had booths set up at the church providing services, information and activities for children. Free boxes of food were handed out and several hair stylists gave free haircuts.
