The Turlock Chaplaincy held their fifth annual 5K/10K Fun Run Saturday with more than 100 participants joining in the festivities.

The overall male and female winners of the 10K were Patrick Guerrero and Erika Navarro. The overall male and female winners of the 5K were Scott Sawyer and Adriana Latronica.

The Turlock Chaplaincy is a non-profit organization that offers support to Turlock’s first responders and their families and provides spiritual and emotional counseling to all persons in the Turlock community following critical incidents. The chaplains are ordained clergy with specialized training in working with first responders and receive no public funds. The organization is entirely dependent on donations. The funds generated from registration fees and sponsorships of the race all go to benefit the chaplaincy program.
