The Carnegie Arts Center is planning a blooming good time with a Spring Garden Party fundraising event from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. May 9.  Guests will enjoy farm-to-fork catering by Greens, live music from the Turlock Jazz Collective, wine, beer and a specialty cocktail, activities with the Modesto-Stanislaus Poetry Center and Carnegie artists, and a silent auction featuring art, design, and creative experiences.

“We are excited to present this event in the extensive backyard and gardens of a lovely Turlock home. This fundraiser will support the Carnegie Arts Center’s important work in bringing the arts to kids of all ages in our region. From field trips to art classes, free family activities and collaborations for music, dance, poetry, film and theater, we educate and engage young people through creativity of all kinds. Community support makes everything possible,”  said CAC Board president and event co-chair Juliene Flanders.

This evening of fundraising for youth and the arts is sponsored by Turlock Dental Care and the McCulla Family Foundation, The John and Jeani Ferrari Family Foundation, Betty Ann Ireland, and Trudia Pauley. Generous donations of food and beverages for the event come from Turlock Fruit Company, Berryhill Family Vineyards, Dust Bowl Brewing Company, and Bronco Wine Company.

Tickets are on sale now at the CAC or on the Eventbrite.com website. Ticket prices are $85 for CAC members and their guests, or $95 general admission.
