Goodwill Industries of San Joaquin Valley, Inc., is partnering with Resupply to offer courier pickup of usable household items. Resupply, founded by veterans in 2015, makes giving simple by offering affordable and even free pickup options.

From their roots on a military base to their present as a force multiplier for charities, a commitment to service is embedded in everything they do making them a perfect partner for Goodwill.

“This partnership makes it easier than ever to donate to Goodwill,” Denise Ost, chief executive officer of Goodwill SJV, said. “Resupply can come directly to your home and pick up your donations.”

To schedule a donation pickup, go online to goodwill-sjv.org and click on the Donation Pickup icon. Eligibility for a same-day courier pickup requires donating up to five bags and/or boxes and a willingness to bring them directly to the driver. Resupply also picks up items such as furniture, household appliances and other heavy items for a cost.

Goodwill SJV operates 14 stores throughout the San Joaquin Valley — from Lodi to Visalia and one in Turlock on N. Tegner Road — generating operating income to directly fund workforce development for individuals facing barriers to employment.

Every donation of usable goods made to Goodwill generates sales that support the nonprofit’s mission to create employment opportunities. Goodwill also accepts drop-off donations at 15 donation sites in addition to its partnership with Resupply.
