It's so hot  that Turlock is expected to break its record high temperature of 103 degrees on Wednesday, set in 1999, by three degrees. Temperatures are also expected to stay above the century mark on Thursday before dropping to 97 degrees on Friday.

Residents finding themselves without any relief from the heat can go to one of the cooling centers in Turlock and the surrounding areas, including all of the Stanislaus County libraries and the Homeless Assistance Ministry at 408 S. First St.
