Library hosts harvest storytime

On Saturday, storyteller BZ Smith and musician Peg Reza brought fall harvest stories to life at the Turlock Library.  With a ukulele at hand, Reza strummed her heart out while dozens of children sang, danced, and practiced sign language to the melodies.  The storytelling and sing-along event was sponsored by the Friends of the Turlock Library.

When the Covid-19 pandemic shook up the world in 2020, people managed the situation in different ways. At that point, Darla Nelson of Turlock had been a certified life coach for about three years, and while she had offered advice to a wide variety of clients, she did something new – she began writing down her thoughts on a Google Document.
