Livingston Community Health is transitioning to a new name, Lumira Healthcare, to better reflect the breadth of communities they serve across Stanislaus and Merced counties — including locations in Merced, Modesto, Livingston, Waterford, Delhi, Hughson, Hilmar and Turlock.
This change is not the result of a merger or acquisition. Lumira Healthcare remains the same independent community health organization, with the same leadership, providers, staff, services, and mission.
“While our name is changing, our care is not,” said Leslie Abasta, Chief Executive Officer. “Lumira Healthcare reflects who we have grown to be and where we are headed — rooted in trust, guided by compassion, and focused on the future of community health.”
The name transition will take place over the next year. All clinics and services will remain open throughout the transition, with the temporary exception of the Hilmar clinic during renovation. Patients may see both names in use during this period.
