History of business: More than 20 years ago, Hary Daud was asked by a Fresno pastor to teach Sunday school. Not thinking himself qualified, Daud turned down the offer.

But Daud regretted his decision. Three months later, when the pastor asked him again, he didn’t say no.

Still lacking qualification, Daud went to a local Christian bookstore in search of some books to help him become a good Sunday school teacher, but found no help. Daud prayed and, three months later, opened his first Christian bookstore in Fresno with a simple goal in mind.

“I wanted to serve the people like me,” Daud said.

A year and a half ago, Daud opened his second store in Roseville. And on June 15, Daud opened his Turlock location, to a warm reception from the community.

“This is where we felt most welcome so far,” he said.

Business specialty: From Bibles to church supplies, Christian literature, DVDs, music, clothing, and artwork, from Catholic to Protestant, Majesty Bible & Gifts stocks it all.

But more importantly, Majesty Bible & Gifts looks to stock what the community wants, with a user-friendly store and products that meet the needs of the community.

“His attitude has always been, ‘What can we do to serve our community?’” said Connecting Point Pastor Gary Gebhart.

With knowledgeable, helpful staffers, an inventory tailored to the community, and a willingness to go out and find the right product – even if it isn’t in store – Majesty Bible & Gifts is a one-stop shop for Christian retail needs.
