History of business:

When Powersports Supply owner Jack Cudia noticed a lack of service and parts shops for powersports vehicles in Turlock, he decided to take matters into his own hands. An avid ATV rider himself, Cudia opened up shop in 2011 and since has provided the community with a one-stop shop for their powersport needs.

“It was a hobby and passion of mine, and Turlock seemed to need something like this,” said Cudia.

A powersport vehicle is defined as a subset of generalized category motorsports, and include vehicles such as off road motorcycles and ATVs. Powersports Supply offers parts and service or repair for the two, and also services v-twin engines, which can be found in Harley Davidson motorcycles.

“We can do anything from tires and service to full engine rebuilds,” said Cudia. “We do everything, and people come to us for everything.”

Prior to Powersports Supply, many riders in the Turlock area had to drive to Modesto, which has a surplus of powersports stores. Cudia is proud to provide a place where Turlock powersports enthusiasts can have all of their needs taken care of in a close-to-home location.

“It’s convenient for people,” he said. “They don’t have to drive as far, and it makes it easier to pick up and drop off their vehicle.”

Powersports Supply is not brand specific, and carries parts from a variety of providers such as Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, Suzuki and more. Their 5,000-square foot showroom is also a great place to find riding gear and accessories.

Cudia explained that Turlock is too small of a town to have one, brand specific shop, but that’s the way Powersports Supply likes it.

“We like the small-town atmosphere,” he said.
