After working for 10 years in Los Angeles at a restaurant named Delhi Palace, Dhaliwal eventually relocated to the Turlock area where he has been cooking up authentic Northern Indian Cuisine. With a variety of dishes including spicy curries and creamy yogurts, the menu at Punjab Express boasts an endless assortment of dishes.

“We also do a lunch special where the customer can choose a dish a la carte and it comes with rice and naan bread,” said Dhaliwal.

With home baked break and meat cooked in a clay oven as well as desserts prepared with whole milk, dishes at Punjab Express are prepared with knowledge and care to offer customers an authentic experience. The store also caters and those interested in purchasing additional items, such as traditional spices, tea, and pickled products, can do so at the restaurant.

Business Specialty: Authentic Indian sweets, tandoori chicken, butter chicken.
