Roadwork has begun on West Main Street at the Tegner Road intersection and will see the intersection and surrounding roadways closed through mid-December.

The closure impacts eastbound, westbound and northbound traffic on the West Main and South Tegner intersection.

Through Dec. 19, this intersection will be fully closed to traffic while United Pavement Maintenance completes the installation of traffic signal, roadway reconstruction, utility improvements and related work.

During this closure, the intersection will be fully closed to traffic to allow crews to safely perform the following activities. Detours will be clearly posted, and drivers are advised to use alternate routes and exercise caution near the construction area.

• Northbound Tegner Road: Detour east to Spengler Way, north to Kilroy Drive, west on Main Street, then north on Dianne Drive.

• Westbound Main Street: Detour north to Dianne Drive, west to Fulkerth Road, south to Fransil Lane.

• Eastbound Main Street: Detour north to Fransil Lane, east to Fulkerth Road, south to Dianne Drive.

The City of Turlock is implementing this project to improve traffic safety, efficiency, and infrastructure in the area.
