Santa makes a few special visits

“Ho ho ho, Merry Christmas!” echoed throughout the halls of the Elness Convalescent Hospital on Thursday when the Kiwanis Club of Turlock crew including Santa (Ken Hood) and his elves (Donna Oppelt, Lois Pinkney and Verna and Warren Riopel) passed out presents. The Kiwanis Club of Turlock delivered a total of 537 hand-knitted pairs of slippers to residents in long-term care facilities throughout Turlock.
