Savemart's Evo Silva and Tony DeWinkle presented a check for $900 to Beverly Schiegel and Valerie Doherty of the American Association of University Women on March 10. The money will help fund the AAUW’s Tech Trek, a science, engineering, math and technology camp.

The Save Mart C.A.R.E.S. Foundation gave approximately $300,000 in grants for all of 2016 to about three dozen non-profits. C.A.R.E.S. stands for Community, Arts, Recreation, Education and Sports and focuses on improving lives under these categories.
