Bad guys didn’t have a chance on Saturday as superheroes of all kinds gathered in Turlock to run a mile or two for a good cause. The Advancing Children of Turlock club hosted its 2nd Annual Act Like a Superhero Fun Run at Donnelly Park, allowing comic book fans of all ages (and species as there was a doggie dash too) to display their inner hero. Proceeds from the run will go to fund ACT’s annual shopping spree for kids in need, as well as a number of local nonprofits serving children.
