The District Attorney’s Office Victim Services Program will sponsor the 19th Annual Lighting of the Homicide Victims’ Memorial Tree and Candlelight Vigil at 6 p.m. Thursday. The ceremony will be held on the courthouse lawn located at 1100 I Street, in Modesto. District Attorney Birgit Fladager will be opening the ceremony, followed by Sheriff Adam Christianson.
