Located in Downtown Turlock, The Spa was founded in 1998 by husband and wife Ralph and Bobbi Clayton who continue to run the day spa alongside their skilled and well-educated team of massage therapists, estheticians, cosmetologists, and manicurists. Offering a variety of massages, facials and peels, body treatments, and waxing services, The Spa is often praised by customers for their staff’s ability to personalize each of their treatments and services to meet each client’s specific needs. Whether conducting a skin analysis prior to a microdermabrasion treatment or finding precise areas of tension in tight muscles before a Swedish massage, the Claytons continue to prioritize complete and guaranteed satisfaction for every customer who comes through their door, with Ralph noting the rewarding feeling of having clients leave his business happier than when they first arrived.
In addition to their many services, The Spa offers an assortment of packages that are perfect as gifts for anyone, such as the Ultimate Spa Day featuring a one-hour Stress Relief Massage, an Image Signature Facial, and a Spa Pedicure, or the Men’s Retreat Package, including a one-hour massage, a men’s facial with warm face towel service and a men’s manicure. Other packages include Bridal Bliss, the Mom-To-Be Retreat, and a head-to-toe package appropriately named “Seventh Heaven.”
While The Spa has been a hit in Turlock for many years, the downtown wellness center recently caught the eye of the internationally operated professional skincare company IMAGE Skincare, as they named The Spa of Turlock the “Day Spa of the Year 2013” in early March. During their facial and peel treatments, The Spa utilizes many IMAGE Skincare products as the international company has been deemed an industry favorite by magazines such as Vogue Health and Beauty, Allure, Dermascope, Skin Inc., in addition to being named the “2013 Official Skincare of Miss USA, Miss Universe, and Miss Teen USA.”
Services at The Spa range in price, with a one hour Stress Relief Massage starting at $65, while the Men’s Retreat Spa Package costs $155. While certain facial peels using state-of-the-art microdermabrasion technology includes more expensive price tags, The Spa’s nail treatments start as low as $20.
