The competition was stiff and Turlock High sophomore Felisha Dias had a great audition, but the Maria Carrillo High School Jazz Choir from Santa Rosa, California was named the winner of the Foster Farms Bowl “Oh Say, Can You Sing?” contest and will have the honor of singing the national anthem before kickoff at the 2015 Foster Farms Bowl.

The 10 contest finalists were judged by a panel that included Gary Cavalli, executive director of the Foster Farms Bowl; Ronnie Lott, NFL Hall of Famer and four-time Super Bowl champion; Mike Pereira, FOX Sports analyst; Anna Marie Presutti, VP and general manager of the Hotel Nikko; and Jennifer Corsiglia-Keim, marketing manager at Foster Farms.

“With so many talented young people in the Bay Area and Central Valley, we thought the Foster Farms Bowl was a perfect venue to showcase local singers,” said Jennifer Corsiglia-Keim, marketing manager at Foster Farms. “The competition was stiff, but we’re pleased to announce the Maria Carrillo High School Jazz Choir of Santa Rosa as the winner and look forward to their performance at the Foster Farms Bowl next week.”

The game will air live on ESPN with a 6:15 p.m. kickoff at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara. With every Foster Farms Bowl ticket purchased, Foster Farms will help provide a meal to those in need through local hunger relief organizations. Tickets are available for purchase on www.sfbowl.org.
