Turlock to honor Vietnam Veterans

A ceremony honoring local Vietnam Veterans hosted by Mayor Gary Soiseth and the City of Turlock will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday. This annual ceremony is the third and final year of the City’s commitment to the Vietnam Commemorative Partnership, which seeks to honor the service of our local Vietnam Veterans. The ceremony will begin with moment of silence and include special guest speakers.

As thousands took to Turlock over the last two weeks for the 2025 Stanislaus County Fair, the absence of a family that was incredibly dedicated to the community and especially its agricultural activities was heavily felt by several attendees. That included members of the Pitman High School FFA chapter.
