Pitman High School student Ansley Murillo will be singing her heart out today at 2:25 p.m. at the PG&E Stage inside the California State Fair.

A born and bred girl from Turlock, Ansley Murillo, 15, sang her first tune at the age of 2 years. She has performed in many singing talent competitions that West Side Ministries has organized through the years.

“She recently performed at the Merced County Fair and the crowd loved it,” said mother Maria Murillo. “She sang to Taylor Swift and Johnny Cash and will be showcasing her own country rendition at the California State Fair.”

The teen sensation can model, dance, and act as well. Ansley Murillo has performed for the One Performing Arts in Modesto and recently showcased her acting skills in a play production from the YES Company.

“She started modeling as a child in the Hawaiian Tropics and currently attends piano and vocal lessons at Ingrams Music Store,” said Maria Murillo.

Ansley Murillo will also be performing at the Castle Family Health Center Summer Family Health Festival on Aug.3 in Atwater.
