History of Business: Sisters Lyna Flowers and Janet Marchant have long had an interest in fashion prior to opening the doors of Snazzy Boutique, an eclectic women’s and children’s shop. From developing clientele at their store London Girl in downtown Turlock in the 1980s to hosting trunk shows throughout the region, the duo has paired up for years to share their passion for current trends with fellow females.

“We both really enjoy fashion, but we’re different enough in style that it works,” said Marchant.

“We’re always looking for something new and fresh,” added Flowers.

While it has been two years since the sisters opened the doors to Snazzy Boutique, the trendy shop has been at its current location for just three months. Conveniently located next door to Bliss Salon, the two shops have had a symbiotic relationship since the establishment of Snazzy Boutique’s original location inside the salon’s building on Geer Road with customers often making a stop at the shop after their appointment at the salon.

Offering a diverse range of items from unique jewelry pieces, women’s clothing, children’s books, and baby clothing for infants up to 24 months, Snazzy Boutique is a one-stop shop for women shopping for themselves and those looking for gifts.

“We appreciate our customers and really have become friends with them and especially because we are so little their choice to shop here and spend their money locally is really appreciated,” said Flowers.

While the shop may offer a diverse range of options, each one is a reflection of the sisters’ taste as two times a year they make their way to Las Vegas for a convention to hand-select items to sell at Snazzy Boutique. With a diverse array of clothing options and jewelry items women of all ages make their way to Snazzy Boutique. The duo is already gearing up for the holiday season  with plans to host their annual open house event to kick off holiday shopping which will take place in early November. The sisters also open shop on Fridays during the holiday season.

Business Specialty: Women’s clothing and accessories.
