Westside Ministries is bringing comedian Dennis Gaxiola to town for a fundraising show on Sunday.

Gaxiola is known as one of America's funniest clean comedians. A preacher's son and Air Force veteran, with over 20 National Television appearances, including Comedy Central's Laffapalooza with Jamie Foxx and Stand up Revolution with Gabriel Iglesias.

The evening also will include a special C.U.P.S. encore performance of “The Greatest Showman” featuring their aerialists. 

The show is set for 7 p.m. at Westside Ministries at 950 Columbia St.

Tickets for the show are $15 in advance and $20 at the door.

The U.S. Open tennis tournament concludes this weekend, with the women’s final today between No. 8 Amanda Anisimova and top-ranked Aryna Sabalenka, while the men’s final will be contested Sunday afternoon between No. 1 Jannik Sinner and No. 2 Carlos Alcaraz, who faced each other in the French Open and Wimbledon finals this year.
