The U.S. Air Force Band of the Golden West will present a free concert at the Turlock Community Theatre at 3 p.m. on Nov. 5.

This performance is both in celebration of the U.S. Air Force’s 70th birthday and Veterans Day.

The Clarinet Quartet is part of the U.S. Air Force Band of the Golden West from Travis Air Force Base, California. Composed of four clarinetists and one percussionist, the group performs a variety of events throughout the West Coast such as military ceremonies, educational programs, and community concerts. The addition of percussion expands the musical colors, allowing this group to break the boundaries of a traditional quartet. With a range of styles including marches, Latin, Dixieland, and even hits by the Beatles, the Clarinet Quartet offers something for everyone.  All Air Force concerts are free and open to the public.

This is the second concert of the Turlock Concert Association 2017-2018 Season. Entrance for this event is free. Season subscription to the Turlock Concert Association's 2017-2018 season also includes reciprocal tickets at several affiliated associations in the region.  For tickets, subscriptions, or further information, call Ruth Cunningham (209-634-0788) or Eric Julien (209-667-5874), or visit http://www.turlockconcert.org/tickets.php for pricing.  Season subscriptions will also be available at the door.
