Adeline R. Brown, 93, of Turlock, CA, passed away on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 at Turlock Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.  She was born March 14, 1921 in Crows Landing, CA to Antonio and Louise Borba.  She lived in Delhi as a young child and attended Livingston High School.  She married Anthony Brown in 1938 and they settled in Turlock.  She was a member and past President of Native Daughters, Eagles, S.P.R.S.I., and Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, knitting, gardening, and collecting giraffe memorabilia.

She is survived by her children Donna (Dee) Jansen of Aurora, OR, Paulette (Lionel) Campos of Turlock, CA, and Mike (Kay) Brown of Turlock; two brothers Bill and Norman Borba of Turlock; nine grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and 6 great great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her husband Anthony Brown in 1999 and sister Hazel Silva.

Her last residence was at St. Thomas Retirement Center where she was very happy and received loving care.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 2, 2014, from 11am-7:00p.m. at Allen Mortuary in Turlock.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Turlock with burial to follow at Turlock Memorial Park.

A reception will be held at the Allen Event Center.
